So, all you have to do is, ensure the ethernet cable is in good condition and the link is finger tight. If connected wirelessly, then making wireless connections between gadgets is not recommended. 

If you do so, then it will disrupt the WiFi signals of the Orbi. Interference with the WiFi signal is the most frequent problem, which can also drive the pink light issue.

2. Check with the Internet Service Provider

5. Update the Orbi Device

  • First, connect your mobile to the Orbi WiFi router network.
  • Then on your phone open the Obi app and enter the Orbi admin password.
  • After this, click on sign in and the admin dashboard will display.
  • Next, click on the menu icon and visit settings.  
  • Now choose Routers Settings and click on scroll down.
  • Then click on Check for Updates. 
  • If you see the option Update firmware, now the router has a new update.
  • At last, follow the on-screen interactions to update firmware.

6. Factory Reset the Orbi Device

If none of the above fixes help you to fix the Orbi pink light, then factory reset your Orbi. This will remove all the corrupt settings and bring it back to its default settings. Here is how to factory reset the Orbi device.

  • Locate the small pin-size hole reset button on the back of the Orbi router.
  • Next, insert the paper clip or any sharp object in the reset button hole.
  • Then press and hold the reset button, till the LED light starts flickering amber.
  • After this, take out the paper clip and give some time to Orbi to finish the reset process.
  • Once done, you need to resync the Orbi router and satellite.
  • After synchronization, check whether the problem has been solved or not.
